This July “Seasons” will be the theme for the entire month with a different season featured each week. This week the challenge is “Spring”. For me, spring is best represented by the vibrant colors of flowers.
Here in coastal Georgia I know it is spring when the azaleas, dogwoods and fruit trees are blooming.
Spring is a beautiful time for a road trip. In Texas, fields are filled with the bluebonnets and other brightly colored wildflowers.
The spring blossoms in the Blue Ridge Mountains add bright colors to the landscape.

Fabulous pictures! Those bluebonnets remind me that I should really have gone out this spring along Willow City Loop, among other places, and taken pictures.

I recognize Willow Loop in Texas. I have a photo of the white boot in front of the one you show here. The clarity of that dogwood blossom is just beautiful.

Thank you Suzanne. A ranger at Longhorn Caverns told us about the Willow City Loop. It’s one of my favorite scenic drives. We were lucky to be in the area when the bluebonnets were everywhere! I’m glad you like the dogwood.

I would have been ecstatic with just the dogwood photo because I LOVE dogwoods. In SC, I ooh and aah over every single one I see. Gorgeous. 🙂

Judy, I think the dogwoods are my favorite spring blooms. I love to see the wild dogwoods blooming in the woods. Have you ever seen pink dogwoods? They are gorgeous but they won’t grow where I live.

All of these photos are wonderful! I’ve seen the boots in Texas along fence lines because that is where I was born & raised. You can’t deny the beauty of the fields of bluebonnets! The peach blossom really spoke to me since that is one of my favorite fruits. Georgia peaches are my favorite unless I’m in Texas and then those are my favorite. 🙂
