In this challenge Anne asks us: ”From squirrels to birds, wildlife is around us. What non-domestic animals live in your neighborhood or nearby?”
The salt marsh, salt water creeks, rivers and the Atlantic Ocean attract an abundance of wildlife close to my home in coastal Georgia. Whether on the beach, in the waterways, in my neighborhood, or in my own back yard I am grateful to be able to see such a variety of wildlife.

How fortunate that you live in a place that offers you a glimpse at so many beautiful animals. I would love to see a wild roseate spoonbill as I’ve only seen one in a zoo. Your photos are outstanding!

Thank you so much! I am so grateful to live where I can see these beautiful creatures. The Roseate Spoonbills have only been coming to this area for a few years. I used to have to travel to Florida to see them. They are my favorite.

Cee, thank you! We often see dolphins in the waters around here but they are very hard to photograph! I was lucky I had my camera aimed a the right spot when this one surfaced.

What a treat to have bottlenose so close. It would be fun to sit on the beach and look for them. I love the diversity of wildlife you have in Georgia. The birds of prey were my favorite. Nice collection.

Well Beth, as usual you and I share common wildlife so much so that we could often exchange our posts and no one would be any the wiser!! Especially loved your insect images this week. The two striped caterpillars are fabulous and I loved the grasshopper on the pink flower! Your dolphin image is wonderful as well.
