State 9:
Welcome to the next post in my series highlighting states we have visited throughout the years. I hope you will enjoy coming along for the ride!
I will be featuring the states alphabetically. Time to travel across the Pacific Ocean to
Hawaii
Aloha! Hawaii became the 50th state on August 21, 1959 and the capital is Honolulu on the island of Oahu.
Obviously we didn’t take the RV to Hawaii! We spent two weeks in paradise exploring Oahu and Kauai.
I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Mahalo for stopping by!

This is a beautiful state. Thank you for sharing your visit there with us. A place one of us has been but now the two of us need too.

Shocking … you did not take the RV 😆 It is fascinating to see how pineapple grows, isn’t it. My family still gives me a hard time for insisting we drive the Hana Hwy on Maui. I thought it was fun and beautiful. Perhaps it was my driving … one hand on the steering wheel and the other on a camera!

Yes, it was interesting to see how the pineapples grow. I never knew how many different kinds of pineapples there were until we visited the Dole Plantation. We didn’t get to see Maui. I can just picture you driving and taking pictures!

Everything shown here is lovely, but I do want to get some pineapple out for breakfast. 🙂 All of the photos are beautiful, but the pop of red on the lighthouse is really something. Once again, you did Hawaii proud. 🙂

Thanks Judy. Everywhere I looked in Hawaii was a beautiful subject to photograph.

Sigh. Hawaii has my heart. There is something about it that gives me a whole new layer of happiness. I can feel it just from looking at your photos. Must get back soon!

Not sure if we’ll make it there since hubby isn’t a fan of flying! Thanks for the tour. Such beauty!

I can relate to not being a fan of flying! Neither one of us likes to fly either but we decided we would go anyway. So glad we did.

We’ve had to fly more than we would like, but they were short, two hour flights. Actually, Bill is the one as I used to fly around the world, 24 hour long flights and more, for my job….Hawaii is a hop, skip and a jump! LOL

I adored Hawaii! Went to Oahu and Big Island for two weeks in January…going back in 2018 to check out Maui. No doubt there’ll be a third trip for Kauai after seeing your photos 😃
