May 8, 2022 is World Ovarian Cancer Day. Teal is the color for ovarian cancer.
The symptoms of ovarian cancer are vague and many women don’t get an early diagnosis. There is no screening test for ovarian cancer. A Pap smear does not detect ovarian cancer.

Shared with Terri’s Sunday Stills Challenge monthly color challenge teal or aqua.

A great reminder there are other cancers to harm us, Beth. Teal is a beautiful color in which to recognize its awareness and early detection. I have a medical physical coming up and have a couple of those symptoms so I will be sure to ask questions of my doctor.

Terri, I hope you have good results at your physical. I never thought too much about the color teal until I was diagnosed. Now I have a lot of teal things.

I only realised that teal was the colour for Ovarian Cancer when putting my post together Beth. Thanks for the reminders which I heard earlier in the week too, in the lead up to World Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day – we all need to be aware!
