Lens Artists Photo Challenge #252 – What’s Bugging You?

For this challenge Donna asks the question “What’s Bugging You?” Insects rarely want to cooperate when I am trying to take their photo. I spent some time in my garden following bees around this week but none of of them wanted their picture taken. Here are a few favorite bug images from my archives.

Giant Swallowtail Caterpillar

Unknown moth caterpillar in Dominica

Swallowtails on Thistle in the Okefenokee Swamp, Georgia

Tiger Swallowtail

Tiger Swallowtail

Lynx Spider

Wasp on Milkweed

Cicada Skeleton

  1. Hi Beth. When I saw your feature photo, I initially thought it was the snout of a puppy. I figured when I clicked on your post I would see a tinier bug. Imagine my surprise. Cutest caterpillar ever! The photo of the Lynx spider was a great capture. Thanks for coming along.

    1. Donna, we discovered that little furry caterpillar in a campground in Missouri. The lynx spider was a surprise on a zinnia in my garden. I enjoyed going through my bug photos. Thanks for the fun challenge.
