Anne is taking us on a virtual scavenger hunt for this challenge. She asks us to “Do a deep dive into your archives, going back as far as you want to find the items.” We had 20 items to choose from and can post at least 5 photos but no more than 10. She wants us to be creative and bold but most of all, she wants us to have fun!
I had fun going through my archives. My featured image is of a grist mill water WHEEL

Thank you to everyone who responded to my challenge last week of Sports, Sporting Events and Games. You showed us amazing images of paragliding, break dancing, fishing, golf, ice dancing, surfing, cycling, motor sports, fun backyard games, baseball, soccer, cricket, hockey, and many more from around the world. I enjoyed the many different ways you interpreted the theme. Be sure to check back on Saturday, September 6 Eastern Time when Ritva will be hosting our next challenge.
Thanks Anne for this FUN challenge! I hope you will join in for this week’s challenge. Be sure to tag your post with Lens-Artists and include a link back to Anne’s Lens-Artists #363 – Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Awesome Beth! I loved the shadow of the fence and the tide pool. Great scavenging.

Thanks Tina. You wouldn’t believe how many beach photos I looked at trying to find a good tidal pool. I’m glad you enjoyed this one.

Thanks Egidio. I had fun searching for these photos. Walking barefoot on that bumpy sand can be a challenge sometimes.

Loved your hosting last week. Travel kept me from a proper response. This week…a refreshing look at how you brought the beach into the scavenger hunt. I especially love the fence in the sand dunes. That photo alone checks of quite a few scavenger finds. Very nice.

Thank you so much! I enjoy going through old photos for these challenges. The fence in the dunes is fairly recent but the others go back a few years. I had fun hosting the sports challenge. Traveling is more important than responding to a challenge!

You’ve captured the bumpy sand so well, Beth, some cool shadows too although the fence one is fantastic!

Very nice images, Beth! A good response to Anne’s challenge. I especially liked the tidal pool and the fence shadow. In the latter, there’s much included, and it makes a fine picture of an oceanfront sand dune.
