There are many more birds that eat fish as their primary diet. I’ve chosen these images of birds with the freshly captured fish.

I can think of many birds that begin with the letter E but for this challenge I will feature two kinds of Egrets – Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets.
We visited St. Augustine Alligator Farm in February one year in hopes of seeing the Great Egrets in their beautiful breeding plumage. They put on quite a show.

Snowy Egrets are smaller than the Great Egrets and have yellow feet.

Thank you Lisa for this week’s Bird Weekly Challenge Birds that begin with the Letter E
There are so many beautiful birds with white feathers I had a hard time choosing just a few. In recent bird challenges I have already featured White Pelicans (my favorite), Bald Eagles, and Whooping Cranes so I browsed through my archives to find a few images I haven’t yet used in the challenge. I captured this ring-billed gull on the beach this past weekend.

I love it when two photo challenge have a similar theme. Lisa’s Bird Weekly Challenge this week is Birds with White Feathers and Terri’s Sunday Stills Challenge is A White-Washed World.
Welcome to my world along the Georgia coast where I am surrounded by salt water creeks and rivers, salt marsh and a beach on the Atlantic Ocean is only a five minute drive away. Please join me for a glimpse of some of the natural beauty that is in my world.

Many thanks to guest host Sheetal for this week’s Lens Artists photo challenge #135: a Glimpse of my World.
I’m not a birder and don’t have a life list but I love all birds and I love to watch them doing what birds do. It’s always interesting to see a bird or a pair of birds on their nest or building their nest. It’s even more fun if there are chicks!

Thank you Lisa. for this Bird Weekly Challenge: Birds I Love
