Lens Artists Photo Challenge #266 – Time

Our challenge from Donna is Time. The older I get the faster time seems to fly by. It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the new year 1997 in Key West, Florida.

Go fast enough to get there, but slow enough to see.

Jimmy Buffett
Take time to watch a sunrise.
Take time to watch a sunset
Stop and smell the roses

“Oh, yesterdays are over my shoulder, So I can’t look back for too long.
There’s just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can’t go wrong.”

Jimmy Buffett
Don’t put off that trip you’ve always dreamed of
Go see a favorite artist in concert if you ever have the opportunity

It’s those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes, nothing remains quite the same. With all of our running and all of our cunning, if we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane.

Jimmy Buffett

Many thanks to our host Donna for the challenge Lens-Artists Challenge #266 – Time

  1. What a beautiful tribute. And it worked beautifully for the challenge Time.
Gosh how sad the world is without Jimmy!
I have a very good friend from high school who is Jimmy’s Stage Manager. He and the whole band and the crew are heartbroken just like the rest of us.
    His music will last forever…💔

  2. How absolutely appropriate to bring us Jimmy Buffett, Beth. Truly a favorite concert of mine and my favorite moment was to see him performing in his barefoot, as he should. Love YOUR reminders to take the time, to take the time and the photos to go with them. The infinity pool looks like a great place to spend some of that time. Thanks Beth. A nice tribute, to a great man.

    1. Donna, thank you. His concerts were so much fun. We saw home in 2003 and again in 2005. Back then they didn’t allow cameras and smartphones hadn’t been invented yet so I don’t have any pictures. He opened his 2022 tour in Savannah an I am so sad we didn’t go. Little did we know it would be our last chance to see him. I never get tired of listening to his music. His music will live forever.
