The WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge this week is: Scale
During our 2013 RV journey to Alaska we took a day cruise on the M/V Fjordland through the Lynn Canal from Haines, Alaska to Juneau, Alaska.
As we approached the Eldred Rock Lighthouse I took this photo which shows the lighthouse dwarfed by to the mountain.

As we got closer we saw a tiny white dot on the top of the tree which turned out to be a Bald Eagle. Now the Bald Eagle is dwarfed by the lighthouse.

Can you see the Bald Eagle?

Now that is SCALE. 🙂

Very nice example of Scale! I do see the white head of the Bald Eagle. We have never been to Alaska, one day!

Sheila, go to Alaska as soon as you can! We loved everything about our journey 2 years ago. We saw lots and lots of Bald Eagles!

Scale was represented in two fabulous ways… the size of the mountains and the size of the bald eagle. You get first prize for scale!! Great photo!

Had to look for a while as I was absolutely looking in the wrong place – but yes I found the eagle! They are really beautiful! And there were lots of them in Alaska – amazing to what them take off!

Glad you found him! Although we saw many bald eagles in Alaska I never got tired of watching them and taking photos of them.

I love this lighthouse, too. We first saw it from far away on our way to Juneau. I was so happy when the captain took us right up to it on the way back to Haines.
