Tina’s challenge is Phone Photography. I usually take my DSLR camera and telephoto lenses with me when I am going anywhere to try to capture wildlife shots. Otherwise, I always have my phone in my pocket or purse when I am out and about. I never know when something photo worthy will come up.
I like to use my phone to capture close ups of flowers and critters I find on flowers when I am on a walk or in my garden.

The Brown Pelican was taken with my old IPhone 7 Plus. All the rest were taken with my current IPhone 13.
Thank you to everyone who shared you wonderful images in Egidio’s challenge Color in Black and White.

Beth, it is still surprising to me to see such detailed images from a cell phone. Your photos are great, especially the flowers and visitors.

These are wonderful shots Beth… especially the Pelican. And I am like you, I love taking photos from the car window, when I am not driving.

Thanks Teresa. I was surprised the pelican didn’t fly off before I could take a photo. Through the windshield pictures don’t always work but I never stop taking them.

Those macros are really great. I still struggle with them when I use a phone.

Thank you. I’m glad you like the macros. I use my phone for flower pictures a lot so I’ve had lots of practice. The hard part for me is making sure the light is good and there are no shadows. There are a lot that end up trashed.

Wonderful photos, Beth. The zinnia is superb, I’d never guess that was taken it a phone 🙂

Thanks Sofia! I’m so, so sorry! I looked at the image of the butterfly on the zinnia again and realized I made a big OOPS! That one was actually made with my DSLR. I think I had it mixed up with another photo.
