Someone at out church asked me to dig up 3 out of the garden. She said they take over. These aren’t bloomed yet so we’ll see what they look like. Still early here for their blooms.
Terri, I originally planted a few day lilies many years ago. I used to divide them every few years and give extras away to friends. I haven’t divided them in a while and they still come back every year.
I’ve never been fond of daylilies, but I’ve rarely seen anything but the yellow and orange ones in our ditches. I’ll make an exception for this — it’s lovely!
I had a day lily garden at our home in New Hampshire and enjoyed the blossoms very much. I only wished that they lasted more than a day as they were so pretty. Then of course, they wouldn’t be called day lilies. 😊
They’re both beautiful. I love the black backgrounds. It really makes the colors pop on the blooms.

Beautiful! No blooms here yet, and the deer have decided to ‘browse’ on many of mine.
