Awesome images, Beth, and thanks for going with the subtheme this week! I scratched my head for a moment at the bluebonnets since they resemble our alpine lupine! We dont see bluebonnets here. Thanks for sharing!

Terri, I had so much fun with this theme. I had to go to Texas in the spring to see these gorgeous bluebonnets. Do you think you’ll continue with the alphabet?

Good, thanks, Beth! I want to continue each month. Who knows, maybe twice a month? I looked for flowers that start with W, X, Y & Z. It seems to be smaller list! Unless you count the scientific names 😉 and include wild flowers! I’m glad folks like the subtheme!

This is a fun quiz! I only could come up with the name of 1 of the 3. I wish I was better at remembering names of flowers. Maybe this photo challenge with help. Beautiful images!

I only knew the Bluebonnet because I follow a wildflower lover who lives in TX and he shares them via images every year. I have never seen one. I hoped I would when I was in TX in April but, no joy. Here’s a link to his site.

Thank you so much for the link. I’ve seen some of his posts before. When we took a trip to Texas in the spring of 2015 one of our goals was to see bluebonnets. Our luck was with us. We saw bluebonnets in several different places. They were gorgeous.

Judy, the bluebonnets are stumping most people. I had a friend who was a life long Texan who told me “Texas has bluebonnets, no one else does.” In the spring there are fields of bluebonnets in some places.
