Lens Artists Photo Challenge #404 – Subjects that begin with the letter B

It’s my turn to host the challenge this week. Let’s have a little fun and feature subjects that begin with the letter B. What subjects can you find that start with the letter B?

You can choose several different subjects and share one image of each one.

Beautiful Black Swallowtail Butterfly

Bridge over a stream in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Brown Bunny

Or, you can choose images that contain more than one subject that begins with B.

Or, you can choose one subject and include more than one image of that subject. The subject is Boats in the following gallery.

Last week I enjoyed all of your wonderful responses to John’s challenge of Perspective, Depth and Scale. Thank you to everyone who joined the challenge.

I hope you have fun finding lots of things starting with B. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Please limit your responses to no more than 10 images for your response. Please be sure to tag your post with Lens-Artists and include a link back to this post.

The Lens-Artists team will be taking a break for the next two weeks. Anne-Christine will be hosting the next challenge when we return on July 18.

You can keep up with all of our challenges by subscribing to the Lens-Artists team members websites: Tina, Patti, Ann-Christine, John, Sofia, Anne, Egidio, Ritva, Beth.

    1. Thanks Tish! I’m so glad you like the birds on the beach. Whenever I see a flock on the beach they take off as soon as I try to take a photo! I was glad these decided to hang around long enough for me to get the photo.

    1. Pamela, thank you! I thought of a lot more B subjects but I decided to include just a few to give everyone some ideas. The birds around that shrimp boat are hoping for an easy meal.

  1. This is a fresh and clever new type of challenge. What a beautiful collection from your “B” roll lol The in-flight swallowtail butterfly is spectacular. So is the Blue Ridge Mountain bridge. I love the worn, rusted look. Rust is a very photogenic oxidant, full of color and texture.

  2. Beth, I almost didn’t join this week because my literal brain refused to see the B’s in my post due to the FUTURE theme. Your examples of letter B are fantastic including the butterfly and the stunning bridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nicely done. Dan’s CFFC challenge is brown tomorrow, so you’ve got that locked in for the double-dip, too. My “Bs” are general (birds, baby birds and a baby, and a nod to our Bicentennial in 1976).
