I’m having fun guessing and I’m getting better, Beth! Gorgeous pics but the fireweed framed by the Alaskan range is a stunner! Now I’m wondering if we have fireweed here, we’re pretty far north and alpine climate.

Terri, I’ve never seen fireweed anywhere except Alaska. Fields and hillsides are covered with it in many areas.

I only knew the coneflower (couldn’t remember it’s actually echinacea)…And WoWzA!, that shot of the fireweed in Alaska is stunning! Great capture!
