So, they’re stunning images! And I completely failed. I thought the first looked like Phlox – just not our Phlox – but the white stars in the centres confused me. [Cam says to tell you I had a head start on the “confused” bit.] The other two I’d no idea whatsoever. See why I want to be Georgia-bound?!? Lovely post and thanks for making it into a puzzle – it was fun!

Thanks Pam! I’m glad you like the flowers! The phlox was growing wild in Texas, the sweet pea in a field in Georgia, and the rhododendron was on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.

P2 looks like some sort of coral pea and R is a Rhododendron of course. I don’t recognise the first P.
I just dragged your image into my photo library and used the plant ID I have linked to it and it says Annual Phlox (Phlox drummondii). Is that right? My plant identifier gives 3 possibilities, but is sometimes wrong so I have to resort to Google images on those occasions.

Beth, I love the colors in Phloxes. The Sweet Pea image is gorgeous. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that flower. The Rhododendron is another beauty, too. Great trio!

Gorgeous flowers. I have the first two but not the rhodie, but my neighbors have plenty. That’s the most gorgeous sweet pea I’ve ever seen.
