Let’s have some fun with Terri’s Floral ABC’s theme of flowers featuring STUV. I don’t have a flower that begins with U but here are some flowers that start with S, T, and V. Can you identify any of these flowers? You can check your answers at the end of this post.

S: Purple Salvia with bee, T: Tithonia (more commonly known as Mexican sunflower), V: Vinca (also known as Periwinkle)

Wow. A stunning gallery, Beth. I almost missed the beautiful bee on the Purple Salvia. The bee’s wings blended picture-perfectly into your excellent background.

Beautiful images and fun challenge Beth. I recognized two, but didn’t know the fancy names!

Three absolutely lovely macros Beth! But, moment of truth, I failed. I only know one of those, the Vinca, because we have them in our laneway garden. The Tithonia is stunning but my favourite is the Salvia – I’d never seen that before, I love the deep, rich purple tone and – natch – the bumblebee. Great shot! pp
