Cellpic Sunday – From Orange Blossoms to Oranges

One of my granddaughters helped me plant a Cara Cara Orange tree in April, 2021. The tree has survived snow, an ice storm, and tropical storms. Up until this year the tree has only produced a few edible oranges.

I was excited to see Orange Blossoms on the tree in April, 2026.

In October, 2026, the oranges on my Cara Cara orange tree are starting to change color from green to orange.

There are several oranges on the tree but it will be a while before they are ready to pick. I can’t wait!

  1. It’s a great feeling, isn’t it, Beth? I had a small lemon tree on our patio and I was so excited when it produced flowers and then a couple of lemons. Sadly it didn’t make it past that first season but it was so joyful to witness xx
