Sunday Stills – The Impossible Brightness
For Terri’s latest Sunday Stills challenge she is asking us to show “All things bright and beautiful” during this autumn season of bright colors.
Where I live in coastal Georgia we don’t get the bright orange, red and yellow leaves on our trees. Instead, our sunrises and sunsets paint our sky a brilliant orange. The featured image was taken a few days ago when the sky was so glorious at sunset I had to stop and get out of my car to take a few photos.
I still have a few Mexican Sunflowers (Tithonia) left in the garden. They are about the only bright orange color I get in the fall. The bloom in the next image appeared to glow as the sunlight hit it this afternoon.

On the night of the full moon last week the evening sky was filled with pink contrails just before sunset and the sky the next morning was just as spectacular. The featured image is the night of the full moon, the next image is what I woke up to the next morning.

Cellpic Sunday – Savannah Prohibition Museum
I decided to have a little fun with John’s Cellpic Sunday challenge this week. In his post he featured a terrific photo from the Prohibition Museum in Savannah, Georgia.
I have visited this museum twice and have a photo that is similar to John’s photo. I think that John’s is by far superior to mine but I thought it would be interesting to show the way I captured the same subject in 2019 with my IPhone. The only editing I did was a little cropping and converting the photo to black and white for a more vintage look. If you compare my photo to John’s the paper boy looks different.
