Amy introduced this challenge using the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, Louis Armstrong’s “It’s a Wonderful World.”
I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you…

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying
“I love you”

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
I think Louis Armstrong got it right. It’s the simple things around us that make it a wonderful world.
Many thanks to Amy for the challenge. Please be sure to visit her post at Lens-Artists Challenge #153: It’s a Wonderful World
