Challenge Items: Sunrise and/or sunset, Something cold and/or hot, a bird, a dog, a funny sign, a bicycle, a seascape and/or mountain landscape, a rainbow, a church, a musical instrument, a boat, a plane, a waterfall.
Extra Credit Items: An expressive portrait of one or more people, a very unusual place, knitting or sewing, a fish, an animal you don’t normally see, a bucket, a hammer, a street performer, a double rainbow, multiple challenge items in a single image.

The manatee at the top of the page is my choice for an animal I don’t normally see.

Neat pics! Love the manatees and anhinga. Never seen that hammer before!

We watched that anhinga try to eat the fish. It was just too big for him. The museum was filled with lots more hammers.

Thanks Nancy. I love manatees, too. Many years ago we went swimming with manatees in Crystal River, Florida. They were as interested in us as we were with them.

Terrific post Beth, you really hit the mail on the head 😊😊. The hammer is definitely a prize-winner (if only we had prizes LOL). Loved the anhinga too. Poor fish, died for nothing

You do an amazing job every week of picking great photos from your wonderful travel albums, but this week that shrimp boat gets the award from me. I love that shot!

Thank you Judy. The shrimpers were cleaning their nets and the birds and dolphins were coming in for an easy meal. Always fun to watch when that happens.

I see a few here but have to use the binoculars to barely see them so I really liked your shot. 🙂

Thank you! We actually toured the Hammer Museum in Haines, Alaska. Lots more normal size hammers inside the museum.

We spent quite a while speaking with the priest. He was so impressed we asked his permission before taking his picture.
