My butterfly garden is filled with overgrown Mexican Sunflowers and zinnias going wild this time of year. The weather is too hot and humid for me to keep up with all the weeds. But the butterflies and other pollinators love it!

Many thanks to Natalie for this challenge. Be sure to visit her original post at Sunday Stills: In the Garden
Hi Beth, I love your butterfly and flower photos. The colours are so rich and vibrant. Thank you for your contribution to #SundayStills.

Isn’t it funny – we, humans, work constantly to pull weeds, and the pollinators could care less. I was deadheading this morning, and the bees were flying all around me. No butterflies though, and I miss them.

Judy, sometimes I think the pollinators like the weeds!

Love your August garden! Your butterflies are so pretty!
I do not have many butterflies or honey bees this summer. I have lots of pollinating bees though.
Have a great weekend my friend!

Thanks Nancy. The butterflies just showed up in the last two weeks. I haven’t seen any honey bees, either. Enjoy your weekend!
