Our host Ann-Christine’s challenge is feet and shoes. I decided to have a little fun with this challenge. Here are a few boots from my archives.

Many thanks to Ann-Christine for this challenge. Be sure to visit her original post at Lens-Artists challenge #161: Feet and Shoes
Funny! I like them all, but of course you knew I’d smile at the LLBean. 🙂

Judy, we spent two weeks traveling in your neck of the woods about 15 years ago. We stopped at that LLBean store and every LLBean outlet we came to. We came home with a lot of new stuff!

Excellent choices Beth – you definitely found some unique entries for the week. Loved the Big Texan – of course everything is bigger there LOL.

Tina, I just wanted to have a little fun with this challenge. The Big Texan is a fun steak house just off of I-40 in Amarillo. Big Boot outside, big steaks inside!

The boots on the fenceposts are fun. And bluebells to boot? (no pun intended). Very nice Donna

After they ran out of boots on those fence posts they started putting cowboy hat. Really fun to see. Those are Texas Bluebonnets. So beautiful to see all of the bluebonnets in the spring.

Wow. Honestly, my poor chauffeur (husband) would be so tired of “oh wait stop here too). Very fun.

LOL!! Is that you in front the The Big Texan in Amarillo, TX? I’ve been there and eaten there! No, I didn’t attempt to eat the 72oz. steak meal to get it free. I did buy several glass boot mugs there though. 😀
There’s a fence in No. Calif. that has shoes like that on it. It was a hoot seeing that too.
Fun post!!

Yep, that’s me! We have been there twice in our journeys across I-40 through Texas. Both times we watched people try to finish their 72 oz steak dinner. No one succeeded while we were there.

🙂 We didn’t even try and ordered regular sized meals. We didn’t see anyone try it.

Irene, thanks! We discovered the boots on the fence on a back road in Texas.

Well, you seem to have had great fun with this – and I had too! A different entry – loved the fence shoes. And Blue Earth Minnesota in green boots?

Thank you for this challenge. I had a lot of fun with it. The green boots in Blue Earth, Minnesota belong to the Jolly Green Giant. The company that cans Green Giant Vegetables is in Blue Earth. The statue is located close to a major east-west interstate highway. We love to stop at interesting roadside attractions.

Ah – the Giant! I could not get the idea. And roadside attractions – yes!
