America’s National Parks are some of our greatest treasures. Our national parks, monuments and preserves feature many different types of landscapes. The header image is from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, America’s most visited national park. I’ve included a few different landscapes from around the United States.

  2. Beautiful gallery of landscapes in the different NPs, Beth! Great Smokey Mountains, Glacier and Olympic are on my short list of visits. I hope the fire near Yosemite gets controlled soon. It’s pretty far away from the park.

    1. Thanks Terri! Great Smoky Mountains is beautiful in the fall. That’s also the busiest tim to go. I hope you make it to all the national parks on your list. I hope the fire near Yosemite never makes it to the park.

    1. Thanks Ingrid! Olympic NP is beautiful. I think you would love it. In 2007 we took the fifth wheel north from Georgia to Wisconsin, then traveled west on I-90 to Washington state. Port Angeles, Washington was our home base to see Olympic NP. We were on our way to an RV rally and didn’t spend as much time in Olympic as I would have liked.   4. Pleased, in fact delighted, to say we have spent time in all of the parks you featured! Fun selection of photos. We were in Olympic national Park last week. This week we are in North Cascades National Park. Next week we will be in Glacier. Have to love the parks!

      1. Peggy and I have been to over 50… and never met one we didn’t love. You sound like us. When I get done with the coast series, I’ll be featuring North Cascades and Glacier. There are also five others that we’ve visited in the past three years of our wandering that I haven’t posted on and will probably include. My next post will be on Olympic!
