Bird Weekly Challenge #15: Birds with Green Feathers

Painted Buntings and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds are two of my favorite back yard birds. I’ve seen them daily for the last few days and managed to get a few captures of these gorgeous birds.

    1. Thank you Pam! They usually come here in spring and early fall. This year I have seen a pair but they don’t usually come to the feeder at the same time. He will get out in the open more than she will.

  1. Wow Wow Wow! That Painted Bunting is something else. I have photos of them, but nothing like that. Your hummingbird photography is awesome too! I can’t seem to get one unless it is perched. Don’t have the lens to capture the quickness of their little wings. 🙂
