A few weeks ago we spent a few days in middle Georgia where I enjoyed wandering around the fields of an old dairy farm. As I walked around I saw spring flowers and new growth all around me.

It was easy to spot this brightly colored thistle growing in the middle of a field.

Beautiful flowers, but I also like that ear of grass a lot.

Beautiful shots. When we lived in the Midwest, I remember digging up a lot of thistles.

Lovely post Beth – our spring flowers bring us so much joy after a long winter – especially the one just past. I’m feeling their resilience is a great model for the rest of us! Beautiful details in these.

These are just lovely – and so much longed for! New growths on trees are very special. Sometimes it is difficult to see what they will become.
