For this challenge Patti has asked us to explore street art near and far.
I found street art in Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and several places in the United States from Juneau, Alaska to Key West, Florida.

Oh my goodness, you outdid yourself. Wow! They are all great. I really liked Scotland, but the first one is so realistic it looks like you could dive into the water. Again you not only amaze me with your photography skills but your organizational skills to find them when you want them. 👏🏻👏🏻
Judy, the first one is a Wyland Wall in Key West. I have pictures of another one that isn’t digital and I did’t want to go through boxes of old photos to find it 😄 I came up with a way to name the files on my computer that makes it easier for me to find photos.
Patti, thank you! We were on a hop on hop off bus tour when I saw the one in Glasgow. Our tour guide told us the name of the artists. I wish I could remember the name.
So fun! Love the one from Scotland! The man looks so realistic, and I love the contrast with the little bird. You are so well traveled! We happen to be in Cape Girardeau. Guess where we took a walk? 🙂
Thanks Betty! The man in Glasgow is my favorite. Enjoy Cape Girardeau! I took pictures of most of those murals and had a hard time deciding which one to include. It’s fun being beside the Mississippi River.
Wow Beth – you found quite a few wonderful examples. Each has its own strengths but I had to smile at Laurel and Hardy. I suppose I’m dating myself with that one!
Thanks Tina! Harlem, Georgia is the birthplace of Oliver Hardy. The town is just south of I-20 not too far from Augusta and has a fun museum with Laurel and Hardy exhibits.
Wonderful set. I like the photo from Glasgow of that very large portrait on the firewall of the four storeyed house, especially with the car at the bottom to set the scale.
You’ve captured wonderful murals! Liked them all.

Thanks Anne! It was fun trying to think of all the ones we’ve seen. I know I missed a few.
