Merry Christmas 2020

For many years we filled our home with decorations and my Snow Village shown above took up a lot of our living room. This year all we did was decorate our tree and display a few outside lights. I’ve made cookies and other treats and shared them with our friends. Presents were mailed with some arriving in time and some not making it in time for Christmas.

Even though we weren’t able to celebrate in the usual way with parties and caroling and most of our family will not be here we will still enjoy a holiday filled with love and joy.

Merry Christmas from our home to yours

Wishing you Joy and Happiness

Merry Christmas!

and a Happy 2021!

  1. I love your little Christmas village. I was about to get one started this year, but I decided it was best to focus on decluttering and rearranging stuff for the time being. Hopefully I’ll get to do it next year!

  2. I think we’ve all experienced similar situations Beth – and you’ve done a lovely job with your scaled-down Christmas ❤️. Because we are usually away for Christmas we don’t have much in the way of decorations but we have a very small tree and lots of Christmas cards as well as a wreath on the door. it’s about the spirit of the day rather than lots of glitz, right?! All the best to you for Christmas and the New Year!

  3. I hope the two of you had a lovely Christmas. Your home looks like it was beautifully decorated. I had a large Snow Village collection when we lived in New England but sold it when we moved. I recognized many of your pieces and they brought me a smile.

    1. We had a very nice Christmas, quiet and small. The picture of the Snow Village is from a few years ago. All of the pieces are still in the boxes in the garage. I miss looking at it but not taking it back down!

  4. I completely decorated. I think you have the same Angel that I have. Mine burned out this year. She is 28 years old. Your tree is beautiful. My village takes up most of my dining room. 😊

      1. She looks just like mine. Putting the village together takes me about a week from beginning to end. I add the two leafs to my dining table, move it against the wall. Add another table on the other side of the room and then….run my electrical and set the base layer. Then I can start to get them out. Takes me a couple days to put it away and put things back to normal. All in all, it takes about a week for me to take all my Christmas stuff down and put up. I haven’t even started yet. Maybe I will have it all put away by Valentine’s Day. LOL! 🙂
